Why NBT-Converter?
Since Mojang often changes the format/names of NBT tags on items, this website allows to update your SNBT data using only one click.
Another reason someone might use this is when updating/downgrading a MC server and not everything converting correctly.
Or simply you only have the NBT of the item from a old version of Minecraft you are playing on and want it to work on another version aswell.
How it works:
Updating NBT simply uses the Mojang DataFixer(1.20.6) to covert data which is ran on a API server.
Note that when converting NBT without the root tag(for example NBT from the 'NBTData'/'components' item option from EconomyShopGUI).
Our API will try and auto detect the item type based on the NBT tags, this is needed because converting to 1.20.5+, only data applicable to the item type will be converted correctly, meaning that all data which is not applicable for the item(unregular for vanilla MC) will be added under the 'custom_data' portion of the item.
This can be solved by manually selecting the item type under the
Advanced Options based on which item type/material uses.
But note that large and complex NBT may not be incorrect due this and may need manual attention.
